There is nothing like relaxing - drink in hand - in front of the Lodge's striking feature fireplace. Its warmth and ambiance draw you in to share stories, wine and laughter around the flames. Order a glass of Gibbston Valley wine from the bar, before sinking into one of the plush armchairs or sofas that encircle it. Next door, is our sun-filled Conservatory, which is the ideal place to curl up with a good book.

Wine & Dine

Downstairs, you can be inspired by a private wine tasting or intimate dinner in our exclusive Lodge Cellar, which is home to our historic vintages. There is also a small movie theatre, ideal for private film screenings or events.

Outside, take in the beautiful views across Gibbston Valley as you share laughs over a game of bocce or enjoy a meal in our al fresco dining area. The last stop in everyone’s day is the outdoor fire pit, which is the perfect place to savour a glass of your favourite Central Otago wine and perhaps spot a shooting star in the amazing New Zealand night sky.
